Brittni Noble

Music Supervision Coordinator

Originally from Vancouver, BC, Brittni embarked on her musical journey at an early age through performances in musical theatre and choir, igniting a passion that led her to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a focus on Jazz/Contemporary Voice. Following the completion of her first degree, she earned an Entrance Scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where she delved into the realms of songwriting and vocal performance.

Continuing her musical pursuit, Brittni earned an Associate's of Arts Degree in Composition from the Los Angeles College of Music, where she was honoured with the Merit-Based Scholarship and the National Music Publishers Association S.O.N.G.S Scholarship. Despite finding satisfaction as Head of Creative at a marketing agency upon her return to Vancouver, the allure of music supervision remained steadfast. Inspired by Jennifer Pyken's Music Supervision Mastercourse, she made the bold decision to relocate to Toronto to fully pursue this passion.

Her interest in Music Supervision was sparked during her formative years, as she was captivated by the pivotal role music played in shows like The OC and later, Issa Rae's "Insecure". This passion led her to delve deeper into the field, culminating in her first formal introduction to Music Supervision under the guidance of Garrett McElver at LACM. She is thrilled to finally call Toronto home and to be joining the team at Instinct.

Outside of music and music supervision, Brittni is a big fan of her dog, Larry David, hanging with her friends, pilates, traveling and outdoor adventures.

Danica Bansie

Music Supervisor

With over a decade of bopping around the music industry, before studying Music Supervision at Berklee College of Music, Danica got her start in Media & Communications, English Literature, and Film Studies. A creative at heart, she worked as a music writer & gig photographer, a copywriter for an instrument retailer, and helped run a record store. With a little push from a global pandemic, Danica now works full-time as a music supervisor on a range of projects, always attempting to incorporate global feminism, playfulness, and empathy into everything she does. Danica loves any opportunity to create.

Outside of the arts, Danica is happiest while traveling, record collecting, and hanging out with her dog, Carl.

Akash Iyer

Music Licensing Manager

Akash’s passion for the intersection of film and music began at a very young age, through his father, a filmmaker. He pursued his love for the craft and today holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Performance Studies and Masters in Musicology with a focus on Digital Humanities. He comes to us after working as a music coordinator for Reel One Entertainment, a major film distribution network where he was the ‘go-to’ for all music-related requirements.

Apart from the world of music supervision, Akash lives for the stage and is a gigging musician with an affinity for jazz standards and small ensemble cabaret singing.
